Firstly we hope you've all been keeping well in lockdown 2.0 and we have missed all of you.
We do look forward to welcoming you back on Wednesday 2nd Dec but there are important changes
to the way we can do so.
Lincolnshire has ben placed in Tier 3 until the review date of 16th Dec, therefore we do not encourage people living in surrounding counties
which are inTier 2 or lower to unnecessarily travel to us.
We are in a very high risk area and we cannot accept responsibility if you decide to cross the tier boarder.
Cambridgeshire & Norfolk make up a majority of our custom and has been placed in Tier 2, however we are not the Covid police and we do not want to single anyone out who doesn't live in Lincolnshire for travelling here.
That being said we trust you are all sensible enough to make up your own minds on what you think is necessary travel and safe for you and your family whether you agree or disagree with the government tier system.
We ask you to adhere as much as possible with the current regulations and restrictions set out in your area.
As a small business who live and breath shooting as a family, we have, like many other shooting grounds been hit financially hard due to the lockdowns. Having big bills still going out and no money coming in,
its impossible to sustain for a long period of time.
We have to now make decisions moving forward until the new year which financially benefit us as a whole.
We have therefore decided to only open on our busiest days of the week at this time of the year being a Wednesday and Sunday.
We still have staff on furlough and we really cannot predict how much support and business December will bring us.
This way we can still welcome shooters to enjoy practise safely but also limit outgoings on staff wages until we see a financial rise in income in the new year.
For the foreseeable this means we ARE CLOSED ON A FRIDAY & SATURDAY. OPEN ON A WEDNESDAY & SUNDAY.
We will NOT be hosting registered competitions throughout December and will reschedule the Jimmy Law memorial shoot for early next year when we can celebrate
Jims life in a more covid safe way and celebrate our freedom!
Fixtures on the CPSA website will be cancelled and updated ASAP.
Tier 3 also dictates that we cannot mix households inside therefore the clubhouse must remain closed with payment taken at the door and tea and coffee facilities for takeaway only.
There will be no food available but cold drinks and snacks.
Only one customer in the clubhouse at any one time to use the toilet, wearing a mask of course and the rule of 6 still being adhered to outside.
We are confident you will support us as we move through these difficult times , we will come out the other side of this and get back to a new normal at some point next year.
We thank you as always for your continued support.
If you are showing any symptoms whatsoever please DO NOT come to the shooting ground.
The ground have the right to refuse anyone entry if they feel you are not playing by the rules and respecting that being allowed to shoot is a luxury once again
and can be taken away from us as quickly as it was several weeks ago.
